IVF

Mr Curtis consults at CARE, Woking for patients eligible for IVF. 

During your consultation depending upon your assessment, including age, previous history and investigations, Mr Curtis may advise you that the best chance of conception would be to move directly to IVF instead of ovulation induction or other means of assisted conception.

This is a treatment which involves stimulating ovulation with drugs, monitoring the progress of ovulation and collecting the oocytes / eggs as they develop. They are then combined with sperm to create embryos in a laboratory which are then introduced to the uterine cavity.

IVF may be recommended for reasons including blocked or damaged fallopian tubes, unexplained fertility(unresponsive to ovulation induction) possible poor fertilisation, male factor infertility.
